Thanksgiving Tablescape Treat Bag

Didn't you love the treat bag Jennifer Timko created for the Artisan Wednesday Wow a couple weeks ago?! I did! I just had to case it! We made this version last Friday at Paper Pumpkin night.

Then I made this one to hold some matching note cards for a friend!

Just in case you wanted to give this project a try, I asked Jen if it would be ok if I made a tutorial & she graciously said yes! Sooo here it is...

(Just in case you miss the measurements in the video, Cut the bottom off to 2", score both sides at 2 1/4 & 3 3/4, then score the bottom at 1/2".)

Disclaimer: Lots of chit chat, & a wonky camera angle in the second half but it was either that or have kids screaming in the back ground...lol, oh well you get the point.

Artisan Pop & Place Blog Hop

One of the best things about being on the Artisan Design Team is free products! We were super excited to find out we were going to be getting a product that was so new it had not even been announced to SU Demos yet! Love that! Anyway here are the fun projects I got to create using this fun stamp set & pop out die cuts...

I had some extra pieces from my Thanksgiving Tablescape kit so I paired it with a couple of the die cuts to make a simple Thank You card.

Next I made a file folder pocket card because I am kind of obsessed with them at the moment. LOL!

Ok I am anxious to see what the rest of the team has made so lets keep hoppin!

Artisan Wednesday Wow

Welcome back! Hasn't it been fun to see all the Fall projects the last couple weeks! The weather has been great here & feels more like Summer some days. The girls & I have been enjoying that! Anyway today we are sharing the projects that were posted on the Stampin Up Facebook page.

I love that these projects seriously came together in like 10 minutes thanks to the Thanksgiving Tablescape Simply Created kit!

Guess the card is pretty straight forward not much to say about it except I would recommend stamping your sentiment in White Staz On for best results.

The Dry Erase board is simple to make too! I cut a piece of the chipboard backing that comes with the kit & a piece of window sheet to fit the size of the printed menu. You could use some sticky strip to attach them together but I poked small holes & put brads through to hold them together. Then I put a magnet on the back.

I trimmed a couple of the letters a tad to make them fit nicely so I could stamp it all at the same time. I love this alphabet set! The label is attached to the window sheet with dimensionals.

Alrighty lets hop over to visit Alanna!
Don't tell her I told you but she has a birthday coming up in a few days so share a little Birthday Love when you stop by!

Artisan Wednesday Wow

Welcome to another edition of the Artisan Wednesday Wow!
I have been really loving the Thanksgiving Tablescape kit as I am sure you can tell & it inspired me to make this card! Since I was coming up with this card for my upcoming Stamp a Stack I had to go with elements that would be easy & quick to assemble no matter what your experience level & would be cost effective for a class. This fit the bill perfectly!

I used the Autumn Accents die to cut the leaves from the Sweater Weather DSP to keep the feel of the ones from the Tablescape kit & added just a smidge of the frayed pieces from the burlap ribbon. Another great way to get more bang for your buck! SO if you are attending my Oct 16th Stamp a Stack this card will be on the menu! YIPPEE!
Oh yes, to address those that have asked about the ribbon frays: Just cut your ribbon in half length ways & start to pull some of the strands downward & you will end up with the frays like these & the ones I used on my Trick or Treat box.

Alrighty now lets go see what awesomeness Alanna has to share with us...

Paper Crafts WCMD Blog Hop

First let me say what an honor it is to be among this uber talented group! I was so excited when Holly asked us if we would like to do a blog hop to celebrate this years WCMD! She asked us to make a card in the same catergory as we won last years contest in so my theme is "Thank You". You can never have too many thank you cards, right? And just in case you missed it, here is the winning card I submitted to the WCMD contest last year...

Artisan Wednesday Wow

Its October? WHAT?! I am sure most of you have been just as in shock as I am...like where the heck is the time going. I swear the older I get the quicker time passes. My girls are growing way faster than I'd like & as I approach my next birthday I am faced with the reality of how fast life passes.

Anyway guess we might as well start celebrating a season of thankfulness! So one of the products in the Holiday catalog that I have been thankful for is the Thanksgiving Tablescape Simply Created kit! I truly enjoy using things for purposes other than what they are intended for so I have been busy creating a slew of projects that I will be sharing with you through the month. Lets start with a fun collage style card...

I'm really diggin that roll of Birch!!! I used a scrap from the actual napkin pouch & stamped the stamps from the Harvest of Thanks set & cut them out. The Thankful is cut from the long strips included in the kit. The only paper that wasn't from the kit was the Crumb Cake card base, Early Espresso mat, & the Doily! Ok that's all I have for now but there is more to come...so lets hop on over to visit Alanna!
